WE ARE NOT JUST SELLING WALLPAPER, WE ARE GIVING YOU A SENSE OF PEACE,
HELPING YOU BRING YOUR MEMORIES TO LIFE AND CREATING A SPACE THAT FEELS TRULY YOURS.

When your room feels plain, with bare walls and an echoing sound, wallpaper can instantly transform the space from dull to stunning. The right choice of colour and pattern can lift your mood and bring back pleasant memories every time you look at it.

How to Install Wallpaper Like a Professional

Wallpaper can instantly transform any space from plain to stunning. Once you’ve chosen your style and pattern, proper installation is essential to avoid issues such as air bubbles, creases, or peeling. Improper installation may cause bubbles, wrinkles, or poor adhesion. Ensure the wall surface is smooth, dry, clean, and free of cracks before starting.

Steps to Install Wallpaper

A. Measure your wall height and cut the wallpaper to length, allowing a few extra centimetres at the top and bottom.
B. Place the cut wallpaper face-down on a clean, flat surface (a table is ideal).
C. Apply paste evenly to the back of the wallpaper using a roller or brush. Gently fold both ends toward the centre (booking method) and leave it to soak for 10–15 minutes.
D. While the paper soaks, apply paste directly to the wall (recommended for Option 3).
E. Begin applying the wallpaper from the top, aligning it properly.
F. Use a smoothing brush in gentle curved strokes to remove bubbles and excess paste. A soft plastic scraper can also be used, but handle it very carefully, as it may catch on the pattern and damage or tear wet wallpaper.

Tips:

• Always start from a straight vertical line.
• Butt joints together, DO NOT OVERLAP EDGES.
• Clean excess paste immediately with a damp sponge.
• After installing the first panel, align the next panel exactly to the edge of the previous one. Do not pull panels together to close gaps. If misaligned, gently peel back and reapply correctly. Forcing panels together after drying may cause separation later.

IMPORTANT PATTERN INSTALLATION DIRECTION ON SOME WALLPAPERS:

Before installation, check the label on the roll. If you see 3 arrows (1 up, 1 down, 1 up), the panels must be installed in alternating directions.
Start the first strip in the normal direction (top to bottom). For the next strip, rotate the wallpaper 180° (flip it upside down) and hang it bottom to top. Continue alternating this way for each strip (one straight, one reversed).
Example is shown below:

┃ Strip 1: Normal (↓ top to bottom)
┃ Strip 2: Rotate 180° (↑ bottom to top)
┃ Strip 3: Normal (↓ top to bottom)
┃ Strip 4: Rotate 180° (↑ bottom to top)
┃ …and continue alternating

Handle Difficult Areas:

Carefully work around radiators, sockets, windows, doors, and corners using a sharp knife and a straight edge.

Three Methods for Applying Wallpaper :

Option 1 – Paste the Wall (Modern, Easy Method)
If your wall is straight, without curves or bends, apply the paste directly to the wall.
Hang the dry wallpaper onto the pasted surface.

Option 2 – Paste the Paper (Traditional Method)
For uneven, curved walls or areas with corners, apply paste to the back of the wallpaper and allow it to soak for 10–15 minutes, this makes the wallpaper softer, giving you better control around corners. Then carefully hang it on the wall.
Do not worry, our wallpapers will not shrink when paste is applied or expand after drying, they remain in their original shape.

Option 3 – Paste Both Wall & Wallpaper (Highly Recommended for Beginners / DIY Users)
If you have alcoves, sharp corners, curved areas, beams, or pillars, we highly recommend applying paste to both the wallpaper and the wall. For better efficiency, apply paste to the wallpaper first, then to the wall. While you apply paste to the wall, the wallpaper will soften and become ready to install, making it easier to handle.
This method gives you more working time and greater control to position the wallpaper correctly. If needed, you can gently peel it off and reposition it.
Although it may take a bit more time and slightly longer to dry, it provides better alignment and the best overall finish.
